Haida NanoPro Magnetic ND with Adapter Ring Overview
How to Use ND Filters: An Introduction
The 77mm NanoPro Magnetic ND3.0 Filter from Haida provides a 10-stop increase in exposure. Increasing neutral density offers finer control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement, or to dial in a video camera frame rate. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increasing bokeh.
This magnetic filter attaches to an included adapter ring that screws onto the front filter ring of a lens, and can easily be swapped out. The adapter ring has both front and rear 77mm threads and accepts standard threaded as well as Haida magnetic lens caps on the front. It can be kept on a lens at all times. The ND3.0 filter features glass optics with a top coating that protects against water, oil, dust, fingerprints, and scratches.
