A Guide to Birding with Binoculars
By Photo’s Morgan Lyle
Ready for tripod mounting, the 20×65 Deluxe ED Binoculars from Oberwerk allow for terrestrial observation and stargazing with full-field sharpness and minimal chromatic aberration. Between the extra-low dispersion objective lenses and full antireflection broadband multicoating, you can expect crisp, high-contrast, true-color images and pinpoint stars. The 15″ optical tubes are waterproof and nitrogen-filled for fog resistance. The chassis is wrapped in nonslip rubber armoring and fitted with an adjustable-balance tripod mount.
