Premium glass, a wide field of view, and a close-focus distance of just 6.6′ make the Oberwerk 8×32 Sport HD II Binoculars a solid choice for hunters, birders, and outdoor enthusiasts, not to mention sightseers and concert-goers. Antireflection, fully multicoated, extra-low dispersion (ED) glass with dielectric coated and phase-coated BAK4 prisms deliver bright, sharp, true-color images. The 62.4 apparent field of view presents a generous segment of the horizon and the 9.8′ close-focus distance allows a good look at that nearby butterfly or bird. Designed to stand up to a lifetime of outdoor use, the Sport HD II features a lightweight, rubber-armored magnesium chassis and the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging.
