Optoma has their eye on sustainability and has produced the DuraCore series of projectors to be more environmentally conscious than previous designs. With that in mind, the ZH520 features a 34% more compact body, 45% reduction in power consumption, a chassis made with up to 50% post-consumer recycled plastics, and packaging that contains 97% recyclable materials.
Full HD with HDR Native 1080p resolution gives you sharp and detailed images from HD content without downscaling or compression; perfect for displaying presentations with fine text, watching detailed videos, and playing video games. With two HDMI 2.0 inputs, the ZH520 is capable of receiving and displaying both HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR content for enhanced color from UHD 4K media. Laser Light Source Optoma laser projectors use high-quality lasers to create the projected image. In many situations the perceived brightness from laser illumination projectors can be twice that of equivalent lamp-based models. They also deliver increased efficiency to maintain consistent brightness, excellent color performance, instant on/off, and a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. This long lifetime is achieved using Optoma’s DuraCore technology. Implementing advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an IP6X dust resistant design. 24/7 Operation Optoma projectors have been designed to operate 24 hours a day in standard orientation. Please note, projector warranty is based on standard business usage hours. For optimum performance, Optoma recommends that your projector is turned off or placed in standby mode for 30 minutes every 24 hours to prolonging the life of your lamp.
